Like it says I can't afford to get chro mos right now. I could but really can't find any that keep the 31 spline outer. That adds a couple hundred to the cost for me. So best place to buy stock replacements shafts.

I have checked e bay and craigs list not much to be found.

I think Offroaddesign.com is competitive in pricing for new D60 shafts. I got mine from them.

EDIT: Plus them being one of our board sponsors/vendors.

Do not go through Randy's Ring and Pinion. they will sell you junk Yukon shafts.

Offroad design should be able to get them for you like said above.

Do you need to replace them because the stock shafts are broke, or do you just want new ones?

If they aint' broke I would not spend the money to buy new 30-spline stubs. Either save up a little while longer of just go ahead and bit the bullet and do the 35-spline upgrade. The cost of the stub shafts is pretty much the same between 30 or 35-spline stubs, so just the added cost of 35-spline flanges or hubs.

I've heard varying things about the Yukon shafts. I have their 35-spline stubs and never had any issues. I broke 3 Spicer 30-spline stubs with 38x13 Swampers, I now run 39.5x15's with no issues with the Yukons. A friend runs full inner and outer Yukons with 42's and a healthy big block for several years and has never broke one.

Regarding what you hear on the internet, keep in mind that people are super quick to jump on the board and rant about something that broke but you rarely ever see somebody make a new post saying "yep, got these axle shafts and no issue". Not endorsing the Yukons or anything, just that I've had good luck with them.

Let me clarify. I was not talking about the chromo yukon shafts. I was talking about the stock replacements, supposed to be the same as the factory spicers. They are junk, had a friend break both inners pulling off of his trailer, he never got to wheel them. Installed them, loaded the rig on the trailer went to off road park, unload and they broke. Got them warrantied, next went were the stubs after 20 minuntes of light wheeling. Sent all that **** back to Randy's found some Spicer shafts and has yet to break them. He was running 36" sx's.

Do you need inners or outers? If you just need one outer to replace a broken one then I have I will sell you, still has a u joint in it. Just upgraded to 35 spline chromos after I broke the one side.

Lets see if I can answer all the questions. I have spare outers but I like having the spares, hence the reason for inner and outer.

I am using a borrowed shaft, I did in fact blow a u joint and it took the ears on both shafts out.

Trust me guys I know I need chro mos but after dealing with several different brands I know the ones I want and I simply can't afford the cash right now. Well I could but that would delay my crew cab even more. Not willing to do that right now.

Yes I am locked running stupid big tires (44s)

I am only looking for stock replacement stuff because I know I can make a stock shaft survive. I have for some time now. Just have to be gentle till I can get the cash for chro mos.

While we are on the subject of moly shafts, there is a new one on the market. D60 shafts are not listed on the site yet though, but the 300m joints are. The co. is named Nitro http://www.nitro-gear.com/ and they have a No Questions asked Lifetime Warranty on axle shafts.
