Hey guys, I'm looking to order 100ft. of 1.75" OD .120" wall DOM round tubing soon and I wanted to know the best (cheapest) place to get it. So far I've gotten price quotes of: $5/ft. from Lefthander chassis in Roscoe IL, $7/ft from Metal Supermarket in Elk Grove village IL and the ridiculous price of $13.60/ft. from Alston Chassis.

I should have ordered from lefthander 4 weeks ago when they quoted me $4/ft :(
-Thanks

I haven't lived there since 1996 so I have no idea where to get metal from.

But, the price of steel is rising rapidly right now. So, whatever you do find, order it quick.

I know it would be a haul for you but call adams steel in mchenry.
That wouldn't be too bad of a drive, Roscoe is even farther than that. I got another quote from a friend who owns Attitude performance in Elk Grove village for $4.35/ft. I'll call adam's steel tomarrow, thanks

Some updates: Adam's steel wants $4.58/ft. National Tube supply in University Park has the best price so far, $2.80/ft. I also found a guy on craigslist with ~800 feet of 1-5/8 .125 DOM for $1.75/ft but I only have a 1-3/4 die for my bender. Looks like I will be ordering from National Tube
