Just finally dived into my 14B FF and the rear case is the open style. Recommendations on where to find the best price on the no-spin? I'm in WA state.

I bought mine from Randy's Ring & Pinion for $299.00 about a year and a half ago. :thumb:

Got mine from 4 Wheel parts a few months ago. Wanted like 400 but haggled them down to 320 or so and free shipping.

randy over at blackbird custom trucks in your hometown shot me what I thought was a fair deal 365 delivered... last week

cam

if 4wpd is giving them away at 320... GO FOR IT

randys ring and pinon isnt 299 anymore

I paid $125 for one with less than 10K miles on it

Didn't even need it it the time, but couldn't say no either.

Dude, that's a great deal!

I know where you're coming from on that great price. I have shelves full of great deals that I haven't had a chance to put on the truck yet.....:D A locker is going to be next!

Any of the places in the magazines will have decent prices. And most will price match, even with internet prices.

Here are some links for you:

www.performanceoffroadcenter.com
www.partsmikeparts.com
www.4wheelparts.com
www.ring-pinion.com Randy's
www.currieenterprises.com
www.dynatrac.com
www.polyperformance.com
www.offroaddesign.com
www.4wheelcustoms.com
www.peakempire.com

Some of the above dont list them on their sites, so calling would be best. And even if they are listed and have a higher price, most price match.

Not sure if ORD carries Detroits, but they are always great to deal with so I included them! :thumb:

Another question, do I have to use a press to re-assemble the the case when installing the locker?

i got my for 318 or 320 . Go it out of one of the four wheeler mags( national tire and wheel or 4 wheel parts). What i did was call up and say i wanted a 14 bolt locker detrioit locker andthen I would confirm the price in the mag was 318. but they said i must be looking at a older one(mag) becuase they went up in price to whatever it is now. then i just said oh that S**Ks i only got 318 for it and then ask if they can do the old price or say u cant get it. thats what I did and they asked the manager and he said ok.
give it a shot worked for me might for you. just make it sound like ur real disapointed and ask the guy nicely if there anything he can do on the price. (unless you can find something cheaper online) good luck.

Yup. It only took me 3 weeks to get the locker installed in the 14B. The down side is the axle has been on jacks stands next to the D60 in my garage for about 10 months:frown1: I've got a HD TH400, 32 spline t-cases (203, 205 & 208), a 14BFF w/ detroit & 4.56's; Dana 60 w/ 4.56's, three different lifts, zero-rates, and 38's all in the garage. One of these days I might just put it under something:D
