Best shocks for DD

I need to replace the shocks on my DD GMC 2500HD,got 72,000 on 3 factory units and 37,000 on 1 rear that was replace under warranty that blew out from hauling 2 sets of 60/14bolts.

Whats a good shock for this heavy street driven truck? Anyone running KYB MonoMax?

It's hard to go wrong with Bilstein. The KYB's are good as well, but the Bilsteins are a step up.

Gabriel Ultra shocks are hard to beat. You can pay more but you wont get a much better shock. They ride great both on and offroad.
IMHO KYB sucks.I wouldn't run them on granny's car.

What do you guys think of Rancho shocks? I have a set of RS 5000s on my truck.
