Hi all,

We sourced the hardtop (locally) for our 1971 K5 Blazer build and are now ready to start the build. Would love recommendations from anyone who has done a major build on the best websites to source after-market parts. We're doing everything from engine/transmission swap (already have those and adapter parts sourced) to seats/bench, outside trim, bumpers and grill, side mirrors, and carpet kit. Any/all recommendations welcome. Thanks so much!

Scott

All different companies depending on what you are doing there are a lot of specialty companies out there for specific parts. Of course ORD, Fortify Offroad, Diy4x etc have a lot of bases covered for suspension and fab parts

Lmc
Brothers
Classic industries
Cj pony
Off road design
Napa
Oreillys

Ect ect ect...

I used my local auto parts store for mundane stuff(ball joints, bearings u joints, brakes etc) ORD for lift and suspension (they have great customer service) and lmc for harder to find parts. I've got a long way to go though. If you ever get hung up, this site will keep you going whatever you need

USA1 industries.

They are the only place that has a complete clutch linkage rebuild kit with every part you need. Among other things...

Thanks all! Has anyone used MotorCityK5? Seems like they have a pretty wide inventory and seems like the one I had on my list that hasn't been mentioned here.
