I was just wondering which soft top everyone likes best? I really like the can back tops but they are out of business. If someone knows of a soft top thats like the can back one let me know. Thanks

They are not really out of business. They have been purchased by another company and are offering limited applications right now, and more to come later. Go to their web-site and it'll say the same thing. I just got an e-mail from them yesterday telling me that they will have a top for my '76 Blazer in March or April in either grey or black.

I have no idea what fits what with Can Back. I just told 'em what I wanted and they told me when to expect it. They also have an e-mail notification system so I don't have to try and remember.

I would think, though, that whatever years the hard top fits, the same soft top would fit for all. I've never owned any other year, so I never paid much attention to what fits what.

Bestop certainly still makes soft tops for our vintage K5's. I don't know why everyone thinks no one does :dunno:

I looked on their site after reading this and I still can't find one. I'm sure you're right, and I would like to compare them before buying, but I can't find it. Got a link?

By the way, for my '76 with stainless hoops, roll up kit, cross bar kit, and roof basket it comes out to about $2175 before tax and shipping. :eek1: The Blazer and Bronco kits come with the side window kit, so you don't have to buy that.

Crap, nevermind. I just found it. I sit corrected. But they don't roll up like a CanBack. Cheaper though.

I have a skyler softop I'm gonna sell. Doesnt have the mounts like it was supposed to (thanks ebay) But I cut up an old hartop and put velco on it and it works but part of the end broke off (got run over). I'm gonna be making my own softop soon so I dont need this.
