I have a 72 blazer that has some stiff as nail 4'' springs and 3'' body lift with 38''. Now that I have it running right I can work on the suspension. I want to remove the body lift but upgrade to new shackles and springs but dont know what to go with. I still want to run the 38'' tires. I was thinking 6'' springs but what brand  Something softer then whats on their hopefully

I used 4" Tough Country EZ-ride springs (from ORD) made for a 73-up blazer. That is about as soft as you are going to get. I moved the front spring hanger forward "one rivit spacing" and made a shackle 1" longer then stock (which I didn't really need).
