So I have some no name brand all terrians. 2 of them are shot. Got 2 baja claws from a buddy. Getting them all on rims today.

So which 2 tires up front. Talking only off road here. I can deal with either tire in the back or front on road.

My thinking says put the best tires up front. IME a front locker will do more for you than a rear locker because it gets the front end up and over stuff better.

This is for my Jimmy but we have a snow run coming up this weekend.

Probably going to try them on the front.

How would you run them and why?

Front because of weight, and thats the steering axle. If you get stuck with your good tires in the back, whats going to pull you out with no tires in the front? Thats how Iv always done it.

as for a snow run couldent tell you but if your open/ open id put my good tires on the end that is least liky to lift a tyre if your a hill climing fan then front
