Best u-joints to run in my D44 shafts...NOT CTM\'s...

I can't afford them right now. I do want as heavy duty of a joint as I can afford right now. I'll do them both at the same time. Any suggestions?

Also, how about for my driveshaft? I need to replace those too, so I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations on those as well.

Spicer!!! I have not had any problems out of any Spice joint I own. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif That is all I have to say about that.

I called Six States Distributors. They quoted me $18 ea. for the D44 joints and $9 ea. for the d-shaft joints. HELL YA! I can afford to do them all at once for that price. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

I run the Spicers with the grease fitting in the cap. My truck spends a lot of time in the mud and water so it is important to me to be able to get the water out of the joints when I'm done. No breakage problems as the grease fitting in is an "un-stressed" area.

Those are the kind I want to run too. Much easier for lubing IMO. I can't get to the zerk on the #2 joint on my d-shaft /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif It'd be much easier if the fitting was in the end of the cap.

Get the new spicer 760's I broke a shitty moser stub before the u-joint and the joint is still good.

bout half way down the page. They take new spicers and do a special heat treat + cryo treatment... prolly the best you can get short of CTMs...
