Well, I want to start buying some new pieces before I have the new 350 installed. I want a new pump, cause I'm getting a new radiator, so I want suggestions. Pros and cons would be helpful also. Thanks.

I am running the Summit Hi-Flow pump.
It looks stock but has a higher flow rating and is said to eleminate the air pockets or hot spots that can occur in the blocks water chanels. My rig runs at 185 hwy and 185-190 in town.

Rock ON!

How about the Edlebrock pumps? If I decide to add a little shine under the hood, I may try one of their chrome/polished ones. Anyone out there using one of these?

I have a chrome water pump on my GTO, you have to clean it all the time or it will start to flake and look like junkyard crapola.

I have a OEM replacement that is plain old black and I have no complaints. It was cheap too, I think when you see an add in the paper that says "water pumps starting at 39.99" the 39.99 in all cases is a SBC...I love My mouse

Go to Napa, Pepboys, etc, etc, no need to pay so much for and have to wait from a hi per. pump from summit. Just make sure it is a BRAND NEW pump no a remanufactured one. Rebuilt is ok for alot of truck parts but water pumps should be brand new.

I've got a Howard Stewart hi- flow and it works great ! I'd highly recommend one.
