on the crapper...
I just pulled the tranny out of my truck....therefore the question in the title.

I actually didn't spill any ATF, just the normal grease and grime.

What is best for concrete and what is best for asphault? Reasonalby cheap and easy stuff only - I don't care how my garage/driveway etc. look that much.

castrol superclean degreaser works good on asphalt....just did some today..gearoil,trannyfluid,brake fluid, and oil! Carb cleaner and floor dry work good for concrete

The best way to clean your drive way is.........
Have your wife do it.
Hand her a box of tide a gallon of gas and a good broom. She should know what to do.

I've found that if you get one stain in the center of the driveway, the easiest way to deal with it is to stain the rest of the driveway to match. It'll give it that "expensive" look.

i second that! leave the stains alone... they will all blend in eventually. :doah:

They sell some stuff called Drive Up in gallon cans, made just for this, combined with a pressure washer it works pretty good.

carb cleaner, then laundry detergent to soak up the mess, then wait for it to rain, or hose it down a few days later.

My nieghbour is a clean freak, Cleans is 4 car garage with brake cleaner and rags. He does alot of mecanhic work on the side, buys it by the case.

When he cleans his garage, those fumes must be horrendous  I'd be afraid of putting any more chemicals into a driveway in fear that it would eat away at it even more! why not just use soap, water, and a push broom?
