I've read and heard you shouldnt use an impact because it can break loose the fixed or welded nut on the other side then you have to cut a hole in your cab. Any suggestions, I just have to do one so I'm thinking of going for it. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

I think the impact gun is your most likely chance at removing them without breaking them.

I still broke one of mine though.

Second gen guys eh? I just used a breaker bar when i did my buddys second gen body mounts... That was fun. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

On my first gen, grind off the head of the carriage bolt. Use a center punch and pound all the bolts out through the bottom. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
