I am up in the air about the best way to handle the steering on this Blazer. I have 2.5 inch lift springs up front and want to make sure I don't have any bumpsteer issues period. I am strongly considering crossover just because I don't think I can control bumpsteer very well with the short linkage even with a dropped pitman. Any thoughts? Trying to make up my mind now because installing steering back on the chassis will be the next step in this restoration. Thanks.

I do not think you will have any bumpsteer issues with the push pull setup. The real drawback to the stock setup is when you flex and the steering binds

For reference, I have a 71 with no steering stabilizer and have 0 bumpsteer issues. The loosy-goosy steering box is another story.

2.5" aint anything to be concerbned about. I had 6" lift with a 2" dropped draglink and 4" raised steering arm and it drove great.- That was with half ton gear though.
