Best way to mount aftermarket gauges

well I think I heard on here when you mount aftermarket Gauges into a stock gauge bezel that there like tilted weird or something. so what is the bestway to install aftermarket gauges?

do a search... but what you will find is people mount them into the gauge bezel (cover) and remove the gauge cluster that is in the dash... then you wire it up... cut the harness and splice about...
 
ok thanks I will search when I get home. I was asking cause I am helping my friend install them in his 84' 3/4 ton
 
I used a Dremel to help install mine. Wasn't to much work and it came out nice.

Here is what I did. Similar to this one. First I had diamond plate one then I just picked up a stocker and modded it. Looked better IMO and no glare.
