Best way to prime a diesel?

so guys, i just put in a new injector pump on the 6.5, and im almost ready to crank my baby over.. it has been down a few months, so im guessing its going to give me hell trying to start. what do i need to do?? i remember someone saying to make sure the pink wire is disconnected from the i.p. and crank it over for a little bit. but i cant quite remember.. what would u recommend? i want to get this thing running asap.

This should help tell you how to get it bled. Biggest thing is to have TWO GREAT batteries to get a good cranking speed.
