Best way to ship a BIG truck from IL to TX?

there's the main reason they gave you that price. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Do you have any large warehouses or trucking outfits around you? If so, go there and talk to the manager. Often times there are guys either leaving or coming with an empty load, or with room on a trailer. My dad used to work at a warehouse, and one of the guys he worked with bought several vehicles down south and had them transported up here on empty or half empty trailers for next to nothing. Putting and add in where Kenny suggested could also get it shipped for cheap, but not all empty trucks check it.

Did you deliver it yourself? I was heading north on I-55 Saturday morning and saw what looked like your rig being towed behind a 'burb heading south. I waved, but dont think the driver saw.

Yup! That was me and the Burb pullin the K5 down to Springfield. All the toys are gone now! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I'm down to just the Camaro now. Good thing the wife is already talking about buying a juiced up Wrangler! ;-)
