best wearing mud tire for 35x12.50-16.5? Setting up my daily driver.

I like my Groundhawgs, only had em less than a year though. I have had bad experiences with BFG sidewalls several times also. I got my Groundhawgs from the Interco Blem page.

I am running 33" ProComp MT on my 'Burb and I am getting excellent life out of the them. They are good in snow, mud and sand... in as far as I use my DD off road. And they drive really well on the street. I will say that they require proper tire pressure though. I ran them with low pressure after a run for like a week and I saw substantial wear on the outer lugs on the front tires. That was a bad move. But now I have them back at 32psi and they are running great. Time to rotate too.

Denman Ground Hawgs probably have the hardest rubber compound in the automotive tire world. I saw some 44" hawgs that had been on a truck for over 8 years and they still had a whole lotta tread on them. Thats why I got some. I wont need another set of tires for a long, long time.
.
where did you find the denmans? Who makes them or who handels them?

I got my Hawgs from a local tire warehouse supply, Dont know where they got them, you can order them places like national tire.

i have heard that interco now that they sell hawgs have changed the compound in hawgs to a softer compound....that means they ride better but wear out faster...didnt see any one recomed like the goodyear millitary 36s (cheap on ebay)or like i like dunlop mud rovers....dont know if they come in any other wheel sizes then 15s though...

So was Denman bought out by Interco? Glad I got my Hawgs before that happend.

BFG Mud terrains. I had 35x12.5x15's and got 50k out of them. They performed well all around and were very quiet.
