Bet this blazer can be had for cheap

Wonder why everybody else was slowed down except that big rig. Someone recently told me about a relative who drives truck for a living having a tablet streaming Netflix all day. Seems like it just takes one call to the data provider to charge you with manslaughter whether you were paying attention or not.

Wish I had a webcam running about a week ago. Freeway construction was forcing a lane shift and this girl in an Escape got sideswiped a bit on the right side. Probably only cosmetic damage at that point, but for some reason she just stood on the brake and stopped in the center lane (of 5). Well the semi behind her *almost* stopped (I think a couple other cars were able to make sudden lane changes and get around) and smooshed in the liftgate and bumper for her. She then cut across the 2 lanes to the left to park on the left "shoulder" of the overpass, almost getting hit again and tapped the front DS corner into the wall to stop. I was going past at this point and saw her cell phone in hand before the vehicle was even stopped.

Vids a few years old lol. Probably gone . Looked nice before it was plowed.

Dot and trucking companies are making them dangerous on their own. Most all have travel computers in them now that nearly force you to look at them in certain situations.. ON time alarms, and such.
All supposedly in the name of safety :surepal:.

It isn't just the truckers....every single day I drive home from work I am constantly looking in rear view at drivers looking at their cell phones. This is seriously becoming a dangerous situation. I witness wrecks in rear view mirror almost on a daily basis and it is all because of cell phone use while driving. It is worse in the drive from work traffic than it is in the drive to work traffic.

Because of this, if I drive my Blazer to work, I usually drive it back home at lunch. I will not risk rush hour traffic with cell phone drivers.

That is exactly why I'm looking into getting one of those dash cams. One that covers front, sides AND rear!
