I have been fighting with them for months now, and finally gave up and paid them what they wanted. It was only a matter of less than a hundred bucks, but the principal remains. I sold a transmission to a fellow member of a Buick forum website. They quoted him a shipping price of $176. We agreed, and I shipped it. Conveniently, when I dropped off the trans, the guy at the terminal said no one was there to weigh it, even though there were workers there. I get the bill, and they want $315. So I email the guy I sold the trans to, he calls them, they adjust the bill to somewhere around $200. Then the bill comes in the mail and they want $262. Make up your damn mind!

They say that the trans weighed an extra 100 lbs. Now they want me to provide them documentation of the weight. Are you kidding?

Then they tell me that the original quote included a discount for people who had some kind of account there, which I do not. They quoted me a price that had a discount that they had no intention of giving me. What kind of BS is that???

Bottom line, I have many freight choices and I will be taking my future business elsewhere, and I hope you all do too. I don't want any of you to have to put up with that crap.
