Its time for new tires and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these? I was on Tire Rack looking at reviews and didn't really see any off road reviews with a fullsize pickup. My truck is a 78 K10, 350, 350, 205, 10 bolt, 12 bolt. Tire size is 35X12.5 R15. The reason why im looking at these tires is primarily based on price, and the design of the tread intrigues me. If anyone has any suggestions on alternatives within in the price range of these tires I will be open to them. But to give you an idea of my driving style it involves alot of limited service roads, gravel roads, farm fields, and about 100 miles of pavement weekly. Any insight is appreciated thanks.

I can't speak for their road manners, but one of my buddies has them on a truck just like yours and I'm super impressed with their performance off road. They flex and grip good on rock ledges and loose rock hill climbs. Our local Power company runs them on their service trucks and they stand up well to being overloaded.

I don't have the KM2's but I love my blue label Krawlers, had them about 4 years. Similar tread design, I would say with the extra siping in the KM2's they would have even better traction.

I run 35X12.50X17's on my Superduty Diesel. My brother runs the same on his Dodge Diesel. These trucks are both DD/Tow rigs. The KM2's were a huge improvement compared to my old KM's. The stiffer sidewalls helped a lot with high speed cornering. I have been very happy with them on the road in rain and snow. Worked well on some muddy trails. I was reluctant to have them siped due to the abuse I put on them with all that diesel torque, but they are holding up great. My only complaint would be that I can't get a load range E rating in this size for towing purposes, but I haven't expierenced any issues yet.

So far im hearing good things, does anybody have anything bad to say about them. And please let me know what your tire size is.

The sidewalls are junk. They are paper thin.

Brand new and that was the second sidewall that night. Those tires had about 200 miles on them. As an Alaskan with a lot of miles on ice, I feel they are some of the worst off-road tires on icy roads. They do look like siping would make a huge difference with that, but BFG wont warranty them if you do sipe them.

I've got the 35x12.50 15's on my k5. Haven't had alot of time offroad, mostly just muddy access roads and such, but their onroad manners are quite good. Not too much noise, track well, and thus far, good tread life.

Good:

Looks bitchin', not a Swamper....highway driving will be a lot more pleasant.

Bad:

I can only afford one so far, but still need 4 more! :D

what is that sticking out the sidewall

I bought a set for my 03 2500hd in 37/12.5/17s and put them on 03 h2s with my factory center caps, I drive it every day to work. They only have 4,000 miles on them but worked good, rain, snow, sleet etc....didnt see much off road except a few dirt roads. I wanted 38s like greg has but couldnt afford the extra cash at the time.

I like them alot, running 35-12.50 15, they grip really well when I air down to about 12 psi and have excellent road manners to boot
