I am dead set on buying a set for my 07 classic chevy, unless someone tells me different. I am very curious about what kind of mileage people are getting with these. I cant find any real consumer reviews. What do you guys think?

BFG is also announcing some new versions (and sizes) of the Krawler at EJS this April.

I'm curious to see the pricing relative to the new KM2s.

I like what I've read about the KM2s but at over $600 per tire, they'd damn well better be amazing. :deal:

:usaflag:

Thats about par...I just paid $227 for 32/11.5/R15 MTRs

Yea the price is not the issue, I am just wondering what kind of mileage people are getting and how they perform.

I have about 10k miles on mine and they look pretty good so far...they seem to chunk easy that's the only thing im unhappy about.

They ride nice and are not too loud. 37-12.5-17 BTW

motomech, what country are your times made in? I have been told that out of country tires have a chemical in them that usa cant burn due to epa, which makes the tires harder and in turn, last longer.

Who knows where they are from...i just think they are really soft.. i bought them locally

Dude, the country of origin is on the tire sidewall. I am really curious to the point I dont want them unless they are from another country,:o God I know that sounds terrible, but I want them to last as long as possible.

Are you talking about daily driving on mud / rock crawling tires?

The km2's are a mud tire, and yes it is for my dd that sees maybe 9,000 miles a year. Yea I know, I want to be cool with my street queen:rolleyes: Hey Chaddy you edited before I posted "ROCK CRAWLING TIRES"

Then you should know what kind of milage to expect out of them and not cry when they are bald from the street after 2 years.:doah:

I knew it!! I have bridgestone dualers on my truck now that are missing several chunks and are at 3/32nds with 18,000 miles MADE IN USA. My buddy has the same tires made in japan that look great with 22,000 miles

I could easily get 30k miles on the old BFG's MT's...lots of mall crawlin and weekends off road...but i think the KM2's are a way softer compound i dont know if ill make it to 30k

I had procomp mud terrains that got about 45k out of them but I dont remember country of origin. Thanks for checking motomech

Normally when they get low on tread i just rip a sidewall and exchange em for new ones on the warranty.
