If you haven't seen the new bfg ko2 tires, it's worth a google. I think they are just in the R&D stages and testing but they look pretty good. I could see them kinda bridging the gap between the KO and the KM2.

Yup I like them. Looks like they kept the overall pattern of the old style but added some more ballsy sidewall tread.

Yea that's what I was thinking, I love KO's but they kinda suck in some thick mud, I think those new side walls will really help them out.

I have been eyeballing them for awhile going to consider them when it comes time for tires.

The BFG all terrain tire sucks for anything but street driving. Don't know how this new tire will perform but the tread isn't agressive enough IMO for anything but a street tire still.

don't tell this to guys with snow plow trucks . they go crazy for them .

and I got 4 new ones recently . so you sayin you don't like my truck now :D

Idk bout that. I've gotten out of a whole lot of sand and snowy places with the ATs. I wouldn't consider them a mud tire but than again that's not the intended purpose so why use them as a mud tire.

I had a set of AT's on my '70 for 42K miles. Loved them. Had them in the San Juan mtns a fair amount, Moab, VERY wet, greasy snow, and a big block on the street. They still had decent tread left, but I had damaged one several years ago, plus they were first generation. I would have bought another set for my '90, but my local tire shop said they had seen more problems with BFG's getting out of round recently. Sadly, I bought Toyo's. I had experience with them on work trucks, so I knew the quality. I bought a set of used km2's for the '70.
