found three sets of these for 380 each set, pretty sure thats a good price. they are 35 for a 15" rim. he said one set is the newer ones and the other two are the older ones. before i take a long drive to see them. whats the difference?

Nothing really, the lettering on the side is a little different.
 
Get the newer set if possible. If the older sets are none KO sets then they don't have the sidewall lugs, rim protector, and the sidewalls arent quite as tough as the newer ones. If they are all KO's then there isnt much diff.

Plus the tread pattern was slightly rotated to be quieter and still provide good traction . Mine work real well on everything .

BTW , the newer ones have been out long enough I wouldn't trust driving on the old ones , they may be too old by now .
 
the old ones have been inside and have no cracks. so could they be ok to use? thanks
 
Yeah they should be ok, give em a good once over for any dry rot cracks, other then they would would be fine just the minor changes that were stated above
