Guys I am looking for a set of big block block headers my 454 is a 1974 vintage, prefer a block hugger style. Not sure I have the room for long tube. Let me know what you have. Thanks!

As @skunked stated, I run Sanderson shorties (part #BB8), they fit perfect without any mods. @mrk5 has the same set but he had some fitment issues, we have different motor mounts, frames etc though so who knows which was the contributing factor. Mrk5 also had to trim the corner of his 4l80e bellhousing for the pass side collector to fit also. Mine worked fine with my OE hydraulic SM465.

That's a nice looking set @F.S.F.W posted, smoking deal too.

I have the SBC version of the ones Aaron has, they fit great on Sancho. Hopefully they last.....

They actually seem to be a decent header. Thick flanges and a good fit. My passenger side header did have a flaw and I should have sent it back but I decided to massage it with my hammer instead. It looked like one of the tubes was bent about 1/2” too far back towards the collector which pushed the tube too close to the frame. It was obvious that it wasn’t a design flaw and it wasn’t a big deal to me. I’m going to spray mine with some VHT satin clear header paint just to make sure they don’t get all nasty looking.

And I checked them with a straight edge and they’re definitely flat. IIRC they are machined but I’m not positive? It’s been a while...
