Has anybody found long tube 2” or larger primary headers big block application to fit a 86 K10 ? I’ve heard somewhere Chevelle headers but not spending a grand to find out they don’t ! I know Sanderson fit perfectly but I’d like larger primary long tubes for my 572…

We need more information on your 572 !
Is it the GM Performance version or one of them 4.5” squared up motors ?
Either way is GREAT - just curious.

I've built a handful of big HP 383's over the years and never had one come apart but I trusted this expensive motor to Skip White, it's overkill but that's my OCD, nothing but the best internals just incase I decide to turbo or blower it in the future, internals will handle 1,200HP

Waiting for Ryan at PerformaBuilt to build my tranny he's pretty backed up, then it's game on !

My 2 1/8” headers on my Chevelle are 2 piece, one tube goes around the outside of the frame.
The 2” I had before were all inside the frame.

AFR Enforcer aluminum heads 335cc, PBM valves 2.250 intake 1.88 exhaust, Comp Cams valvetrain hardware with Comp Ultra Pro Magnum Stainless roller rockers riding on ARP studs of course... Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam 547/547 lift, 230/236 duration, 112 lobe separation, Morel tie bar roller lifters... Cam is a little to whimpy for the hard core gearhead but is correct for a 4X4 truck that will be approximately 4800 pounds finished... I over cammed a couple of my early Squarebody motors back in the day and effing hated myself for it !

No shame in your mild grind digits - certainly the motor size & heads can support much more power but you won’t be lacking for grunt at any RPM no matter what gear and tire combo you use.
Enjoy every bit of those FIVE-HUNDRED and SEVENTY-TWO cubic inches!

Thanks Tarussell ! It should be a blast for sure ! I refuse to discard my 1/2 ton drivetrain so I went full Yukon, Grizzly locker, 4.10 gears, Alloy axles and a Denny's driveshaft, that combo is allegedly fancy to 800hp... Currently sporting 33's but will be sporting 325's (35 inches) when done. PerformaBuilt stage 3 4L60E tranny Custom FTI billet converter 2400 stall all controlled by the Sniper EFI tranny control harness and module... Hoping all my hard thought decisions are the best combo for what it will get used for, best of both worlds you might say, should be good at highway speeds and absolutely terrorize the neighborhood when I fell necessary :yikes::saweet:
