I dont recall any issues with the pedal. Altho now it is different as i have a 79 setup on a 70 firewall. That one didnt line up at all.:D

Ow. Ya think!

Mighta been 'cuz my sixpack is a '74, and I think the early 73-74-ish brake pedals are different than anything else ... but the pivot point for the rod to the hydroboost unit was an inch or more off from the one to the vacuum booster.. my hydro stuff came from an 80's truck ... anyway, it's soemthing to watch for. ::shrug::

ok now what happends or better yet what needs to be done to run a hydro wintch, power steering with cross over hydro assist, and hydro boost? I know you need to have two p/s pumps but what would be the best way to hook it all up?

FYI I run hydroboost, hydroassit, and power steering all off the same pump. So maybe run a second one just for the winch?

with the hydro boost brakes and hydro assist steering and power steering on the same pump, isn't the hydro assist starving for fluid? do you have any trouble with over heating of the fluid?

I also run a cooler in the return line. Only issues i have are leaking at the box where it was ported and getting air out of the system, mostly since my cooler is mounted almost as high as my tank only to clear my winch.

See.

i have been getting alot of pm's saying not to do the hydro winch thing and did some checking on the forum. it sounds as if the mile marker are a good winch as long you don't over heat the fluid, and i guess that is a problem with them
