I have a 1988 Suburban with a TBI 350 and th400 trans...will a big block bolt right up to a th400? What flywheel and TQ converter will I need for this swap?

It will bolt up. BBC & SBC have same bellhousing pattern. Torque converters are the same also. If you go with a 454 you will need a 454 flexplate. They are own part number because the 454 is an external balance.

Swapping a BBC in place of your SBC if you're keeping the TBI you'll need a BBC TBI unit with the injectors as well and you'll also need a new chip from a BBC truck or have someone burn you a chip. The flexplate is 454 specific like was already said.

also grab the radiator if its the big four core. might not be completely necessary (depending on the bb) but what the hay.
