Big block to small block

Ok, I know why big block to small block?
I picked up a 1984 1 ton SRW truck with no engine that had a big block in it.
Will a small block bolt right in or are the mounts in a different location?

Should bolt right up to the trans and frame mounts .

Yup, should bolt right up.

I went the other direction and not a single issue.

K thanks guys I thought that for some reason the motor mounts were in different positions.

nope, but if you were going from an inline to a V motor, then they would be. Even then, all you'd need to do is move the motor mounts up to the other set of holes.

So its a 1 ton or a 1/2 ton rig? Which is it?

Yeah, kinda sounds funny, it is a 1 ton SRW truck.

Been covered obviously but I also swapped a big block to a small block, all bolts up just fine. Cool thing is you get to use the big radiator if yours still has it.
