I'm quite angry with you guys, cuz while everybody says how fun they are, nobody told me they were like THIS.

Just bought a C/20 /forums/images/graemlins/crewcab.gif with a 454... and damn that thing moves! It's SIX FEET longer than a K5, and it HUSTLES down the highway like nothing.

Though I *fear* what the gas economy is like when I do that... and manouvering the thing around the gas station took an eighty-seven point turn, felt like.

But damn, that thing has torque. Big block GOOD, Zog like big blocks (grunt).

I've had a 454 in a K5 before............gotta agree no comparison to a SB. However..........drive a Cummins just once, factor in the mileage and you'll forget all about gas engines regardless of size. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

Do bad cummins are slow from 0-50. Once overdrive kicks in though, they fly.

milage is the only thing i would like more about a cummins than my 500 cid, i'll be making as much TQ as most of the stock ones out there when i'm donw /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Ok............but still, slow off idle? I've been test driving various 99-02's and I have yet to find one I couldn't launch pretty dang hard simply by stepping on the loud pedal.
