Well I didnt have alot of time today to work on my crew cab but I did get a little done. WOW I shoulda done alot mor figuring on spring hanger placement. I think im gunna end up with close to 9" of lift in the rear with stock blazer 52" rear springs. I realy didnt plan on that much, but its almost too late now as the rear hangers are welded solid to the frame. I cant realy tell yet as I only have the driver side spring on but my shackle angle and pinion angle should be about right. I sorta set the weight on the axle to get a rough estimate. But theres gunna be more wieght as I build the bed and add a feul tank.
Do you guys with over 8" of lift regret going that high? I guess my dream of eventualy running 42's shouldnt be that difficult. Now the hard part will be getting the front to match. Anyone know off hand how much lift stock rear 3/4t 56" springs will give the front?
