:doah:DAMN! why cant I find those deals. that make you feel even better. :D

See if you can top this:

'85 K30 DRW, complete truck minus motor, with a flatbed, D60 and 14FF with 4.10's, 465/205 in 32 spline and hydro clutch all for $500.

Complete '83 K30 with a looooooooooong wheelbase and 12' flatbed, running 454 with 465/205 and 3.73 geared DRW D60 and 14FF all for $500.

1979 K3500 SRW D60 and 14FF with 4.10's and open diffs, I pulled the axles out from under the truck for $250.

Those are about the best deals I've ever gotten on any 1 tons.

I know this isn't the official best deal thread but.....Once I got an '82 K30 C&C w/ 454 400/205 DRW D60-D70HD, w/ a flat bed for $400 but had no body to get in my way 'cept the bed.

Guess I'll chime in. Got you all beat hands down. 2 seperate Dodge 60s for $85 each, Gm 60 for $40, HP60 for $125, one for $100 (whole truck), one HP I have now traded for an 86 HP and a 4L80, got them from a D60 rear out of a Road Runner that I paid $400 for. Had more, but can't remember them all....

Forgot about the Dodge 60 got from my buddy. Basically got it for $7. I had a 4 wheeler given to me, just had to clean out the tank and carb. Got $7 worth of high test, got it running, he wanted it for his wife so she can put around the yard....

best for me would be two complete 79 f-350s for 600. d60 and 14b from a m1008 with 17k on them. 500

hmm where to start.

2- ford f250 1979 trucks- $400 1 had a dana 60. sold it for $700 scraped the rest + sold parts for about $500.

1- gm SRW d60 w/4.10 for $100

1 set of 1-tons, 4:10's SRW $300

1 set 1-ton's 4:56's SRW $400

1 crew cab 1980 350-465-205 d60-d70 can't say price but it was cheap. scrapped the work body and bed and made half my money back. still have the rest of the parts.

Let's see.

79 f350 supercan 4x4 $215 missing motor
79 K30 $250 missing motor
79 F350 4x4 $600 complete running driving truck.
85 HP D60 $200
79 F350 4x4 $500 complete non-runner
77 K30 $700 complete non-runner

These deals aren't as common as they used to be . Too many farmers know what a D60 is.

thats very true the d60 is now becoming like gold haha luckily i got my front d60 from a bud for free for my blazer then just bought these other 2 sets cause they were a good deal :D

yup, buy them up when you can find them, that's what i have been doing. my fiancee just shakes her head when were driving somewhere and i'm constantly looking for old rusty chevy's.

I don't have a GF but my parents and brother do too when they go anywhere with me :haha:. My buddys have learned to look too :D.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...68136908&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:MOTORS:1123

i paid 520 bucks for the f350 and got 500 out of it parting it out and am still not finished...got the 79 hp60 layin in the floor

a few other good ones ive had

a brand new 203/205 doubler with tripple stick for a d44 w/513 and a locker and a crossover draglink-straight up trade

i bought a 2 44 boggers almost brand new and 2 bald 44 tsls on wheels for 500..sold them in a hour for 700 got one of the tsls back as a spare..then bought a brand new set of 44 inch tsls for 1200 on wheels which i later traded the wheels for a 3 inch body lift, set of h1 o-ring,and a set of 2 inch spacers

ive done alright lately :)

How about a '90 V1500 Suburban for $500. Only thing wrong with it before I started to "fix" it was a blown rear 10b.

After I "fixed it. Needs a fuel pump, rear springs, & a D60 rebuild.
