Today was AMT (aviation maintenance technician) day at work and we got a free lunch- like every other year. Bunch of vendors were giving away coozies & t-shirts- like every other year.
However, this year there were some real deals and freebies, listen to this: From DeWalt I got a free 31 piece security bit set with case. I also ordered the new 20v MAX charger/radio, this is the one for the new style batteries, for $190 with a 3.0ah battery (the radio is usually $180 and the battery is another $90). From Irwin, a free Hanson 3/8x16 tap and die (other guys Lenox hole saws). From Pelican a free 1920 flash light, it a pretty nice light- 2 AAA, aluminum, LED, pocket clip & it's got our dept logo on it. The biggest score was from Snap-On Industrial Sales, FN100 3/8 dr ratchet $25, SSDMR4B ratcheting screwdriver, with our dept logo $25, and 212SFSMY metric, deep well, 3/8 dr socket set, with magnetic holder $30!
They had the 7.2V cordless screwdriver for $60, also a great deal, but I didn't buy that.
