a few weeks ago i called steve looking for technical advice on the k5 blazer and lifting it pros and cons and all. the blazer is to be a used hunting rig that see 85 percent trail use.
i had questions on doing the rear useing 89-98 chevy rear springs along with a shackle reversal.
steve is great guy i havent bought anything from him but he still gave me measurements on moveing the mounts to work with new leafs that are 12" inches longer. he sugested moving the front mounts forward 4"s and the rear about 5 to give me alittle bit laued back shackle angle.
so far ive moved the front mounts and tied them to the body mount bracket. and have been building rear shackle reversal brackets useing ORU designed front shackles deasisnged to go under ifs- sfa converted trucks
so far this project has been alot of work and has been kinda weird trying to salvage what i can from my wrecked 89 chevy truck.
anyays thanks alot steve. you have no idea how much help youve been
thanks
Evan
