I scored some seats I am very stoked about. They are hydraulic damped, adjustable truck seats like you would find in Kenworth/Peterbilt, etc (okay, not quite that fancy, but definately industrial/heavy duty in nature). Anyway, the company who makes the seats doesn't make any adaptors to K5, so I will have to do that. Question is: What do I need to consider in building an adaptor? Has anyone done this before? Or should I just drill new holes, weld on some backing plates to the bottom and bolt them up? Truck is dual use - on and off road. I can barely wait to try these seats out wheeling. With the shock absorber base, I'm thinking I will be WAY more comfortable than in my 30 year old broken down stock units. Thanks in advance for any advice.

yeah just drill some holds and do a little welding, but make sure you have the proper spacing.

ya be sure to make everything perfect before welding...my friend had to re-do his bucket seat in his truck...he wasnt too happy. maybe even make oval holes in the brackets, so if u need to, u can move then forward or back? just a thought...
