Bigblock rebuild

This is my 1st post, but I have been lurking for a long time. Great site, good people.

Anyway, I've got a rod knokcing in my sub' and its time to do a rebuild. Any suggestions on where to buy/not to buy a good master kit?

I plan on keeping it as close to stock as possible, since it will see mostly street duty.

BTW, its an '83 GMC K2500. 80K on the odo, but VIN says it was originally a 350 truck.
