I have a 86 3/4 ton Burban 10 bolt front and 14 bolt sf rear axle what is the biggest size tire I could run with lockers, I don't play much when I do it is just sand or mud no rocks. If i get a front locker it would be arb and only used if absolutely needed. I am not going to get a Dana 60 front I would like to but I don't play enough. I am just looking for a little info, I might not even get a front locker but I do want one for the rear

I broke the front shafts in my ten bolt with 35s and open in mud.38 i think was max recommended size with after market shafts.

FYI, I ran 38" tires on my 3/4 ton Blazer for a long time. It can be done, but plan to be replacing ball joints at least once a year. If you put a locker in it with tires that big, you're looking at a good chance of axle shafts breaking.
