I know someone here has some knowledge as to how big a tire and wheel width I can run on a stock suspension 1990 2wd Suburban?

Looking for the shinny front and wide rear look! :waytogo:

My brother ran 31x10.50's on the front and 333x12.50's on the back of a 77 2wd.

Think you might be looking for somthing different 275/60/15 or 295/50/15's are pretty popular on a 8 or 10 wheel

Yup looking for something like that. Looks like a ton of room in there. Would like to here from someone who fit them correctly with backspacing etc...

I'm running 33x12.50's on my 2wd...did require some minor trimming to the rear of the front fender.

Well if you can get a 33 on the rear I guess I can get a 295/60r-15 on a 10 inch wheel. Fronts will be around the stock 235/75r-15 so no problems there...

My 2wd had 255/60/15 front, and 275/60/15 rear on 8" rallys for a while before I sold it. It looked pretty good. Could have still went with a 2/2 or 3/2 drop and been alright.

with 275's its pushing it on a 10" wheel but I've seen it done. as for on the burb Yeah it'd work fine. if you want more options go up in rim size a little.

You think a 10 inch wheel would fit in the rear?

I have 15 x 10's...it fits the rear perfectly.

one thing I have noticed: The 2x's sit higher in the rear...at least mine does, and it's stock.

I'll get the pics for you tomorrow E.M...:waytogo:

Your right the 2WD is higher in the rear! Actually they ndon't sag in the rear like every 4WD suburban. More level. Probably do to lower front.

O.k., here we go...

33 x 12.50 on 15 x 10 rim..rear wheel.

You always help man! :waytogo:

So no issues with tire rub on the rear with them 10 inch wide wheels? they look like a standard 4 inch backspace...

no, the rears were/are fine...the b/s is 4", the bulge in the sidewall is tucked inside the wheel well lip.
