I have post on Facebook but need to make a build thread here, on the real CK5. I am retiring the old beat up burb and replacing it with its twin. The plan is to remove and rebuild the 5.7 in the new burb and transfer all suspension and other mods too. I got the front clip off today but left all the A/C lines hooked up. Next weekend I should be able to get the engine pulled.

That rash doesn't look too bad.

Is it easier to swap bodies, if that is what you are after?

I can live with the rash. But the barn doors don't latch/unlatch properly. The windows are EXTRA hard to roll up and down. The body mounts are worn out and some are rusty. For me, and with the tools and facilities I have available, a body swap would be much more difficult.

take the window regulators out, clean out the gunk and grease them with some fresh lithium grease.

I made a little progress today. All the top-end accessories are removed except one heater hose. I don't have a wrench big enough for the fitting. Anyone know the wrench size? It's the hose that connects to the top rear of the intake near the EGR valve.
