Anyone had any expierience with the Bilstein 5150,s that have an external resevior mounted to it......

I like mine! I've got 3" TC EZ rides up front, shackle flip out back, and 37's and the Jimmy rides nice and smooth so, I'd say the shocks are doing a good job! (Front F250 mounts and custom tabs and crossmember out back, single shock per corner, IIRC 14" travel) Sorry I can't give a more scientific review! :D

Speaking of valving, that's something I forgot to mention, I got medium valving ones, they seem right. I can't comment on longevity though, I've only driven a couple thousand miles.

Thats the valve i have right now but in 7100 shocks

If i remember correctly i had 170/60 valving with 33's but a they where still better than the pro comp crap and ranchos IMO you can always go with the bilsteins 7100 you can always adjust the gas pressure in them besides the valving you get.

keep thinking in bilsteins i dont recomend fox

just put the 255/70 on mine and have been enjoying it so far. Definitely a smoother ride than before. Can't tell you about off-road though though as mine hasn't been yet :D

Kool, I actually have a set of the Rancho 9000's with the air compressor and 5 settings, I havent been impressed at all. Im going to leave the ranchos on the back though so when I tow or carry a lot of weight in the back I can stiffen up the rear. As far as in the front though I could never seem to find a perfect setting on the ride.
