Black Betty, Rock Crawlin Trail Truck Build !!!FOR SALE!!

This is a build thread, not 20 questions. If you have more questions just PM me and I'll be happy to help. Read this...

http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=208847&highlight=all+the+spring+swap+threads

Thanks for the link. I'll read it in detail and hope it answers my question. (even though my question was to you in particular about the results you got from what you did)

I didn't realize your build thread was limited only to you posting pics and having people tell you how cool your truck looks (which it does). Perhaps you could have said something like "I'd rather have you PM me with questions about the specifics of what I did." instead of saying "do a search noob, don't you know anything about springs?" (I know that isn't exactly what you said, but like i stated previously I'm pretty good at deciphering things). Since others had asked you specifically about what you did (ie flipping the DIY hangers from one side to the other), I thought perhaps you might be willing to enlighten me with your actual results and where you got your springs from (of course you would have to infer that I was asking about where the 56" springs came from when I asked if they were front springs).

I offer a sincere apology for assuming something that was obviously not the case. (no, I am not trying to be a smart a$$)

My shackles came last night so hopefully ill have time to finish it this weekend and then I'll post up some results. As for how much lift its going to give me I have no idea what its supposed to be originaly so after I get the springs in as long as its sitting somewhat level its good enough for me.

Heres the wiring I finished up for the WINDSTAR FANS.

Finished wiring in the fans this weekend. Custom wiring harnesses the RIGHT way takes a lot of time... I've got it so there are two on/off/on rocker switches; one for each fan. In one position they are constant on (when ignition is on) and in the other position they run off the thermal switch. And Off is obviously off. The coolest part is when they are on the thermal switch, the little light lights up when the thermal switch comes "on" and they go out when the thrermal switch is "off"..

nice build man. if you dont mind me asking how much was the house? im 20 and looking to move out soon. i love the house.

ran into a bit of a problem with the spring swap. First problem is the ride height was a lot lower than I thought it would be so I made a 1" block bolted to the spring pack. Now everything is in and Its a bit softer than I think it should be, but I guess I'll wait till I can actually drive the truck before addressing that. As for my nice rebuilt springs.... one is softer than the other and there is a 3/4 of an inch difference at the rear spring eye. Gonna let it slide for now, but it sure is annoying.

Subsribed, Nice build! What part of Atlanta are in? Im in Madison, need to get together when the ride is done.

Thanks man. Build threads are soo much cooler when I post like 3 years of progress in two days. lol. I'll try to speed up the finish as fast as I can. hahaha.

Ya the fast forward is always nice. If I done that with my build it would bore ya. It still sits in a mess in my garage with parts in boxes. lol. Nice build and good work. Keep it up man.
