Black Fender Trim?

ditched the blingy chrome trim around my fender wells while I trimmed up the fenders and I was wondering if anybody had a line on some black fenderwell trim or something of the like that I could cut to desired length and screw to fender well edge. I'd like to keep my fenderwells looking clean as possible for now and also eliminate the sharp edges left by the fender trimming. Know what I'm talking about?

Believe someone used some kinda pipe they scored and slipped it over the edge and screwed it up there. Now just to remember who..

I've actually seen a couple trucks that did something like this but I could never track them down to ask them. It was basically like a 1inx1in L shaped trim, basically like the shape of stock fender well trim, but it was fairly flexible plastic that they cut to fit

This stuff is pretty good. Seen at least one guy here running this and it looked durable.

JCWhitney used to have DIY fender flare stuff in rolls, looked just like that stuff from AWDirect. ::shrug::

well this is the closest thing I've found to what I'm talking about. http://www.trimlok.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=30 the 1-1/16 is kind of what I'm talking about, but 1 1/16 by 1 1/16 in a L shape would be perfect. Just a simple L shape so I could screw it to the underside and cover up the sharp edges of the cut fender

Looks like either of the 'standard duty' or 'steel reinforced' are kinda what you're looking for ... oh, except they're curved, and you want them go back UP over the edge of the metal, don'tcha?

I'm your local Home Despot/Lowes or equivalent... there's rubbery floorboard, right, you use for tile or linoleum floors, or maybe counter edging? The angle thing is gonna be tough though.

I'm lucky: my sheetmetal was so bad I just cut it until the Bondo and rust was mostly gone, then banged the two edges together and welded a piece of 1/4" rod around the curve. I hit the really bad spots with the grinder and called it... well, done, if not good =))

Actually the PLGB 9/16 might be perfect cuz it comes with peel-off tape to stick it might be able to just stick it to the outside of the fender and it curl slightly underneath to cover the edge. Anybody wanna go dutch on a roll At minimum length roll of 250ft think it might be a little much
