Black interior conversion. Worth it?

Sorry to hijack but what did you have to do for brackets to make those 02 seats fit your floors??

*hijack over* :D

changed mounting holes

Since we replaced the floor panels, changed the mounts to fit the 02 seats.

I will have a complete new black interior in my '81 Crew cab next year, to match the black exterior. That is on the project list for 2009 winter.

I'll be doing the full LMC setup, with all new panels, dash, carpet, stock style Silverado trim...the works. I plan to do as little painting as possible. I want it to look like it just rolled out of the Flint, Michigan plant when I'm done!:D Probably will run about $1200 or so, crew cabs aren't cheap....

Black interior all the way ha.. Mine is stock blue !:( I'm converting to black by means of the following... No more carpet, rustoleum black paint on the floor and tailgate and lower half of dash(the metal part) I found a good shape used black dash pad, I'm leaving my stock chrome gauge bezel. All the plastic trim pieces I'm painting with black plastic spray paint. The rear side walls I'm just making new ones and painting them black. I'm getting gray seats which I'm going to leave and gray door panels, I'm painting all the plastic and metal parts of the doors black and leaving the rubber/fabric gray...
