Blaupunkt Nevada Help

Hi, I have a nevada rda 168 that came with my jimmy. Nice head unit but.. i cannot get the face plate to release to save my life. Any gurus out there that can /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif Secret codes?? screwdriver?? /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif?? Any ideas really needed. Thanks, Bret.

Are you sure it's suposed to come off? Some cd players just flip down for the cd, nothing else. Try equally pulling out on each corner. If that doesn't work maybe the guy who had it before you made it so It couldn't be taken off for theft reasons?

Thats whats wierd. I cannot get the face to move at all. Short of cranking on it or using a skrewdriver i cannot figure it out. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Does it have a release button ??? It may not be working.

Yes it does. I guess i should try to gently pry on it and see if it releases. Just don't want to [darn] it up. Bret.

Maybe take it into a car audio place, and get a guy to come out and look at it. They probaly could help you more than us, becuase they could actually see what it looks like and whatnot.
