Blazen Off Road --- Baja Burb – suburban build thread………

Okay some changes have been made for one

502 , yep he went back to the original plan and is getting a crate 502/502 carbed motor. We are having the neighbor guy rebuild the TH-400 (he was a race tranny guy for 20 years)

The cage has been built that way because of his requests. He wants tool boxes to run the center length of the truck for fishing poles and guns. But now he is going back to 502 he probably wants some x bracing. I want him to have it anyway.

what you really need to add is one of these:

:eek1::eek1::eek1: Is the camera guy dead :haha:.

I ALWAYS wanted to build a burb baja rig, I was told I was crazy . Looks like not so much. BAD ASS.

obviously he was shooting blanks, but 3000 rounds per minute w/ blanks would still scare the sh!t outta me! :haha: that was filmed at the scottsdale air park in Arizona... right down the tarmac. wonder what kind of permits they had to get?

Subscribed. I like the grille made out of expanded steel mesh. That is a cool look.

Scott

It's a better look when it's done by a professional

Mine is not so tidy looking ... still simple and functional (and my tranny cooler fits behind it, unlike the original one) ... but you guys can weld sheetmetal

Very cool build! But I gotta ask, why rough country springs? If the guy has money for a 502 why not go with some softer springs like from Deaver?

Well for one there is nothing wrong with rough country springs. I'll report back on the ride when she drives.

He keeps changing his mind..........383 to 502 back to 350 to 383 who knows. And ya I can't wait to go explode the front end in the rocks if he goes 502, I will take some video.

Now he wants bigger tires to ha ha ha. Told him to go 37's
