How do they look installed?
I`ve only had them 1 day.And they forgot to send the hardware for the doors and bumper ,so Jesse is over-nighting it.
So it will be awhile before there on.
Also I was thinking of makeing something to help me take off and put the doors on with.....If the tube doors are this heavy I can imagine how heavy the trucks doors are.:eek1: Plus I dont have any one to help.
Any one know for sure?

how heavy the doors are??? they are heavy, i take mine off and put them back on by myself and it's no fun.

I use a motorcycle jack w/ a milkcrate on top, one hand on the door and a airrachet in the other. either pick it up or lower it down, its not too hard...... about 75lbs. each

Subscribed. I want to see some better pics of the doors installed besides what BOR has on their website.

I wanted the pics of the doors, thanks. When you get them mounted up I would like to see how tight the latch is when shut and if they inadvertantly open if you force them without opening the latch. Also if you have to open the latch to shut the door or if you can close it just like the stock door.

Thanks

Ill get pics of the whole door tomorrow.
But it may be a while before I mount the whole thing,BUT Ill try to hurry.
Ill just put 1 on unpainted just for a trial run,ok?

buefchris do you remember how much the bike jack was? That sounds like a great idea. If its not to much I could get it now and use it to mount my bumper too....

Coupla thoughts, Don. One, doors are heavy, and switching them back and forth will scratch paint and dent doorsills. AMHIK. However, you may like something like

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=40386

which is purpose-made for doors.

Alternately, the ATV/motorcycle jack is muy handy... I've dropped trannies and tranny/t-case combos with it, installed sliders and bumpers... gas tanks, too, IIRC ... this and a few lengths of 2x4 or 4x4 lumber, and one guy working solo can work miracles!

Definitely catch it on sale like it is now -- it'll go on sale maybe three times a year.

Dude those are perfect!! I think I`ll get the Door jack , as I pretty much have to work alone , an being so disabled it would be hard for me to balance it on the bike jack....
Now I just need a little extra cash, paint and the hardware they didn't send till today.I cant bitch he sent it to my house for free.

Heres some better pics,of best I could do with what I had.

[ PS whats AMHIK ]

I forgot I need to mount some kind of mirror to the drivers door.....

Here are a couple shots of my Blazen bumper installed. Please ignore the poser tires, as I had to swap from my 86 to fit in my garage :D
Jesse delivers top notch work/service and I would highly recommend his stuff to anyone.
