I bought this when a CK5 member sold his rig and the buyer wanted to go to stock bumpers. I just want to build something a little different. Just put brand new bushings in the tire carrier.

$350

Wow wish i had a rig to put this on. My old k5 had a blazen offroad front bumper and I loved it.

I am looking at the tire carrier and it looks like it is hinged but it doesn't look like it swings in any direction

Swings down. It’s just being held up by the tire iron in the pic.
So you have to lift the tire and line up the bushing end in the slot then stick a pin.
Just like the one I have that Aaron "dremu" built

Correct. But I just had a thought. With it being a winch bumper you could rig the winch to it and let the winch ease it down or pull it up. :waytogo:

Aaron did that and even welded an eyelet to to hook it up.
Lifting it is not a problem for me, it's the closing, it needs a latch that closes when pushed in and needs to be strong

Is there a cover that goes on top of the center section where it bolts to the frame and where the winch goes?
