Or any bucket seat for that matter, how different are they? Will they bolt to the same mounts? anybody have an idea when they changed them? I assume an 87 burb buckets will bolt down to my 86 k5 frames but i am not sure, let me hear your thoughts or knoweldge. I do think the folding back style (88 or 89 to 91) do not interchange with the earlier years, other than that i think we have 73-77 first half and 77 second half-87ish, and dont know if there are any difference in the mounts or mounting in those year ranges. Thanks guys.

I swapped buckets from an 88 Suburban into an 85 K5. The problem is that the Suburban has a hump in the floor that the Blazer did not. The seats were slightly different sizes, and the bolt holes on the seats were different. I ended up drilling new holes and tacking on nuts to the Suburban seats, using the K5 mounts. I'm not sure about other years. So short answer is yes you can swap, just may have to perform a little fabrication.

And some of the blazer's have a passenger seat that folds forward and latches to a pin in the floor. So those bases will have some sort of hinge up front.

yeah i knew that difference, my 86 is a hinger, i was just wondering if it was the same style of seat (Fixed back, non-recline) would it swap out with just a few bolts? aka not any mods.
