Will the Front and rear Dana 44 Axles off a 1977 Suburban Bolt up under a 91 k5 Blazer?

FYI It should be a front 10 bolt and rear 12 bolt in that year of suburban. As far as i know, no full size chevy ever came from the factory with a d44 rear. But yes the axles out of the suburban would bolt right up to your blazer stuff.

But, why would you? From what I know the rear axle in your blazer is a 30 spline 10 bolt and I beleive the pinion bearings on a 10 bolt are actually larger...could be wrong.

i am almost done with my swap. 1990 k5 with a 73 axles. got the 12 bolt and dana 44 not. its got the flat knuckles so cross over steering soon.

Some of the 1st gen trucks came with a D44 rear axle (not sure if that was a 2WD thing exclusively or if 4WD did also). But i do know for sure that some 2WD's came with a rear D44.
