It's usually not hard to get a ride especially when you post up here ahead of time.

I'm working on my sub, hopefully BB12 will be my first blazer bash! I need a lot of ****, oh and a tow rig/trailer.

Yes. That's basically the weekend we have worked out with BLM as our recurring dates. They like to keep permitted events from overlapping.

The house the wyo/mt crowd rented was one of the lazy lizard ones.
What happens in Moab...., gets uploaded on the internets for everyone to see....

I see you photo shopped yourself out! "We" will be there again, unless something crazy happens. My daughter already ask if we can goto Moab for her birthday next year in June. I said no it's to far. How about South Dakota. She just ask if we can go rock crawling in South Dakota. Looks like SD in june sometime. :D

I haven't been there to wheel, but I hear there's some good stuff for crawlin' in SD.

Its awesome, the scenery is great(mountains), plenty of tourist stuff to do. A bit like Moab in being a great all around package for a place to go wheel with the family. Here is an old pic from down there.

I was going to go to the Dakota Challenge but several people told me a fullsize truck is too big for their trails. I know it's probably a bunch of BS but I haven't had a chance to get there yet to check it out.

If you ever want to go hit us up. A few years ago we where down there over labor day weekend when they run the challenge and one of the trail leaders put a bad taste in my mouth. He was basically a jerk. Anyways we went back and forth on pirate a bit. Bottom line, we had to choose between Blazer Bash and Dakota Challenge. They are always back to back weekends, so we can't make it to both. You know which one won :waytogo:

Just got done talking with the wife. I'm going. Either our trip to Maui is going to get rescheduled, or she will go with a girl friend. But Im not going to Maui that weekend, I'm going to BB12. Unless of cource the Burb is in pieces. She told me to put away $100 a month now for gas. I said ok, but I need at least 5K to put onto it by then. Good to go.

My Burb should be up and running by then. Dont know how trail ready it will be as Im just starting out with it. I wanna roll out there either way and enjoy the weekend. We should roll out in a wagon train if anymore from our area are planning on going.
