We have an S-10 Blazer with a busted front locker, he'll be fixed on Monday. It spun the seal housing (Yukon Zip Locker) and shredded the copper line when he drove it off the trailer..:doah:

I fried my power steering pump on Fins and Things. I'm not sure I'll find one in Moab today, but there are a couple stores with them in Grand Junction.
 
I ended up driving to grand junction for the pump. I just finished putting it back together and we're getting ready to hit the trail.
 
Well, the new pump lasted about an hour...

Hooray crappy Chinese rebuilds...:doah:

Wade is going to pick me up a couple more before he heads here tomorrow.

Change the trail name...your killing your rep...breaking on Fins n Things is like saying "I broke in the City Market parking lot"
 
I think I have it fixed. New pump, cooler and filter, flushed the system with 3 quarts of fluid before I sealed it up.
I broke it in on potato salad hill and it started whining again. Another member of our group busted his ring gear on his Toyota so I headed back to camp get the trailer.
After we let it cool down for a while, Wade showed up and we managed to get it bled a bit more and I think it's good now. We'll find out tomorrow (or maybe tonight).
 
Does Brent breaking the tongue of the uhaul trailer count? We were all ready when I saw that the shackle holding the tongue on had a broken bolt. Uhaul doesn't have any more locally. Brents driving 30 miles to get one. Well, that's anouther hour and a half.:doah: oh well
 
I managed to put a slight bend in the rear driveshaft screwing around on the last optional obstacle on Steel Bender.
 
now im starting to get scared you guys are already breaking stuff.
what did i sign up for :doah:
 
Hopefully not for the extreme Fins n Things trail....

Think I'm sticking to Upper Helldorado, Coyote, Britney Spears and the other non extreme trails so I don't break anything:haha:
